Severe storm warning issued for Smiths Falls and region

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Smiths Falls and other areas south of Ottawa.

The warning includes areas such as Sharbot Lake, Perth and Eastern Lanark County.

The standard Environment Canada warning is for residents to take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
