At about 1 a.m. this morning, a pickup truck drove off the road and hit a large tree.
Bystanders reported hearing a loud crash and found two males unconscious in the vehicle. The incident left a trail of debris near Orleans Boulevard and St. Louis Drive.
Paramedics arrived on scene and requested assistance from Ottawa Fire in order to extricate two men, ages 23-and 24-years-old.
Both patients were immobilized by paramedics, and were listed in serious condition upon arrival at the trauma centre. Both men had head injuries, and the 23-year-old also had spinal injuries.
