One person is dead in west Gatineau following an unspecified incident on Friday afternoon.
Gatineau police were on scene, but they said they weren’t dealing with a crime and that the situation was “not suspicious.”
Police blocked off a home at 79 Jean-Louis-Morin after receiving a 911 call at about 1:10 p.m.
A Gatineau police spokesman wouldn’t confirm any deaths, but the Citizen has learned that at least one person died in an unspecified incident.
It hadn’t been confirmed how many people were involved in the incident. A police spokesman said they were waiting to speak with relatives before releasing more information.
