Man, 57, dead after pickup truck hits tree

A 57-year-old man is dead after a pickup truck struck a tree in the Richmond Road and Fallowfield Road area Tuesday evening, according to the Ottawa Paramedic Service.

Paramedics said they received a call about the incident just after 8 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Ottawa police are investigating.
