Federal government downsizing are having a negative effect on high-tech firm Calian Technologies, which Wednesday reported a seven-per-cent year-to-year drop in third-quarter revenue to $53.8 million.
Earnings for the Ottawa-based staffing services firm dropped to $2.9 million compared to $3.3 million in the year-ago quarter.
The company will hold a conference call at 2 p.m.
