Ottawa firefighters worked to free two teenagers trapped in a vehicle Thursday afternoon after a car hit a tree and flipped.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Leitrim Road between Bank Street and Albion Road at around 1:10 p.m.
The car, which was carrying at least three occupants, was flipped onto its side after after hitting a tree, paramedics said.
One person has been extricated, and firefighters are still working on the driver.
Ottawa police ask motorists to avoid the area.
