Ottawa fire sends units to assist in battling Embrun blaze

Ottawa Fire Services have sent six trucks and personnel to assist fire units combat a fire in a barn and home in Embrun, about 40 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.

Fire broke out in the structures on Rockdale Road before 3 p.m. and grew rapidly.

There was no word on injuries or the contents of the barn.
