Ottawa police were seeking public help Sunday evening as they searched for a missing woman they said could be in danger.
Sindy Thibert, 27, was last seen driving a vehicle at 8:30 a.m. near MacArthur Avenue. The vehicle was later found near the intersection of Trim and Watters roads in Orléans.
Police said the woman may have entered a nearby wooded area on foot.
The woman is described as Caucasian with pale skin and shoulder-length straight black hair. She is 5-4 and of thin build, with green or hazel eyes. She has two tattoos; one on her left shoulder blade of a Rottweiler dog and two dog paw prints on her left inner forearm.
Police are asking anyone who has seen Thibert or could have information about her disappearance to contact police at 613-236-1222 ext. 5212.
