A man, believed to be in his 30s, was transported to hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Centretown, according to Ottawa Paramedic Service.
Paramedics said they received a call at around 10:15 p.m. about the incident in the Kent Street and Catherine Street area.
Police closed the following roads while conducting their investigation: Bank Street at Catherine; the Highway 417 eastbound offramp to Kent; and access to Kent from Chamberlain.
