Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will proclaim Pride Week in the City of Ottawa.
Date: Monday, August 18
Time: 4 to 4:20 p.m.
Location: Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
This event will be the culmination of a ceremonial pride-flag-raising tour taking place at City facilities throughout the day. The tour involves City of Ottawa services, including police, paramedic, bylaw and fire departments, and OC Transpo. The tour will also include a pancake breakfast and barbecue lunch.
Tour Schedule:
6 to 10 a.m. – Ottawa Police Services Headquarters, 474 Elgin Street
10:15 to 11 a.m. – OC Transpo Articulated Bus Dispatch Building, 745 Industrial Avenue
11 to 11:30 a.m. – Bylaw and Regulatory Services Headquarters, 735 Industrial Avenue
Noon to 1:45 p.m. – Ottawa Fire Services Headquarters, 1445 Carling Avenue
2:15 to 3:15 p.m. – Ottawa Paramedic Service Headquarters, 2465 Don Reid Drive
