Forecasters predict rain to close the week, with a 40-per-cent chance of showers on Wednesday. That jumps to 60 per cent Thursday and moves down to 30 per cent Friday.
The end of the week should warm up, with expected highs of 25 C.
The City of Ottawa stopped having lifeguards on duty at Ottawa’s supervised beaches starting Monday.
Some outdoor pools also closed for the summer, including Entrance and General Burns in the west end and Genest in the city’s east.
