A pedestrian has been taken to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a car at Bank Street and Heron Road Wednesday afternoon.
The collision occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m.
Ottawa Police Service has closed off the intersection in all directions and asks that people avoid the area.
