Ottawa – To facilitate overall construction of the Lansdowne site and to protect the safety of those visiting the site, the Bank Street entrance to Lansdowne is temporarily reservedfor construction crews and related construction traffic only. The public continues to access Lansdowne Park via Queen Elizabeth Drive. The park is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
During major events, all entrances will be open to the public.
Recent inclement weather has delayed construction on the final touches of the Children’s Play Area at Lansdowne Park. As a result, the play area, which includes the play structure and skateboard ramps are temporarily closed. Crews are working to complete the project as soon as possible.
The City would like to remind pedestrians and cyclists travelling through the Lansdowne site to exercise cautionaround construction vehicles and equipment. Public safety is our priority.
