City shows how AVT allows all electors to make their mark this fall

Ottawa – The City of Ottawa’s Elections Office will be demonstrating the Accessible Vote Tabulator (AVT) that will help Ottawa electors, including electors with disabilities, make their mark in this year’s municipal elections – which includes the Special Advance Vote (October 1 to 3), Advance Vote ( October 9 and 18), and Voting Day on October 27.

Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Ottawa Public Library’s Carlingwood branch, 281 Woodroffe Avenue.

From August 25 to 27, the City’s Elections Office is profiling the AVT and its accessible technologies at select Ottawa Public Library branches across the city.
