A 42-year-old man was transported to hospital Thursday with injuries to his left arm, shoulder and hip after being thrown from his bike when he was struck by a runaway car wheel on Riverside Drive.
Paramedics said they responded to a call for an injured cyclist around 3:30 p.m. They said the man was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries when he arrived at hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
