A child was rushed to hospital Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Prince of Wales Drive and Hog’s Back Road, according to the Ottawa Paramedic Service.
Paramedics said the extent of the child’s injuries are unknown. They received a call about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle around 5:30 p.m. Police said they believe the child was under 10 years old.
