Meadowlands Drive has been closed in both directions between Merivale Road and Tiverton Drive due to a fire at an apartment building Friday evening, police say.
Ottawa Fire said they received a call about the incident around 8 p.m. When they arrived, reports suggested that the fire was contained to one apartment.
There is no estimate on the cost of damages. No injuries have been reported. An investigator has been called to the scene to determine how the fire started.
