Ottawa paramedics confirmed they rushed a 56-year-old man to hospital who suffered “penetrating wounds” late Thursday night in the area of Parkdale Avenue and Armstrong Street.
Paramedics could not confirm whether the man’s injuries were caused by a knife or something else. He was brought to the Civic campus of Ottawa Hospital in serious condition.
Police were on scene conducting an investigation, but were not yet providing further details about the incident.
