Two separate stabbing incidents overnight sent three men to hospital, according to Ottawa Paramedic Services.
At around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, paramedics were called to Armstrong Street and Parkdale Avenue, outside the Carleton Tavern.
They transported a 56-year-old man to hospital in serious condition with “penetrating wounds”
Roughly two hours later, paramedics responded to another stabbing in the ByWard Market on York Street, near the Cabin bar.
A 24-year-old man was in life-threatening condition with stab wounds. A 23-year old man was also transported to hospital in serious condition with multiple traumatic injuries.
Ottawa police said they are investigating the stabbings, which come less than a week after 21-year-old Jabeir Jemmie was stabbed to death outside a nightclub near Elgin Street.
