The intersection of Woodroffe Avenue, Knoxdale Road and Medhurst Drive remains closed after a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle early Saturday morning.
The collision occurred at about 2:45 a.m. The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Motorists are asked to take Greenbank or Merivale Road if they need to travel north or south while the investigation continues. It is not known how long the intersection will remain shut.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation unit at 613-236-1222 x2481.
