A seven-year-old girl has died after a farm tractor accident near the Eastern Ontario community of Tweed, Ontario Provincial Police said Sunday.
Police said the girl fell from a moving tractor and then was struck by the vehicle on Friday on Bethel Road. She died later in hospital. Police did not release her name.
The Ministry of Agriculture has been notified and an investigation continues, police said.
Tweed is about 200 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.
