The Ottawa Police Service’s Marine, Dive and Trail unit worked to clean up the Ottawa River under the Rideau Canal Locks on Wednesday as part of an initiative with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup in Ottawa.
Among many items they retrieved were a 18-speed mountain bike and a large rusty barrel that required the efforts of several officers to haul ashore.
