A 10-year-old girl is dead after an accident involving a tree in La Pêche, Que., just under an hour’s drive north of Ottawa, early Saturday afternoon.
The MRC des Collines is investigating, but details at this point are scarce.
“It’s possible that a tree hit her,” said Sgt. Miguel Belzile, but said he could not confirm anything about the circumstances as the investigation is ongoing.
The accident happened just before 2 p.m.
