Ottawa – The City of Ottawa’s Built Heritage Sub-committee will be taking an educational tour of several heritage conservation districts on Monday, September 22, 2014.
The tour of ByWard Market, Lowertown, New Edinburgh and Rockcliffe Park heritage conservation districts will see Sub-committee Members joined by representatives of the community who will lead half-hour walking tours of streets and buildings of heritage interest. City staff will provide the Sub-committee with information about significant heritage buildings in Sandy Hill.
Members of the media are welcome to attend but must reserve their places by contacting Media Relations at 613-580-2450 by Thursday, September 18, 2014.
Date: Monday, September 22, 2014
Time: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Location: Bus will pick up participants attheLisgar Street entrance to Ottawa City Hall. The bus will leave at 9:30 a.m.
