Ottawa police are looking for a mother who has apparently fled with her 17-month-0ld son because of a custody dispute. Police say Catherine Agulu-Kic Otim, 28, is wanted for abduction.
Police said they made attempts to contact the mother after the child’s father reported that he was unable to see his son on a scheduled Aug. 30 visit. “There are no immediate concerns for the child’s safety at this time,” police said in a release late Sunday.
Agulu-Kic Otim is described as caucasian, five-foot-five and 119 lb.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa police partner assault unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5407, or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (1-800-222-8477).
