Ottawa – Join Ottawa Public Health, along withOttawa Board of Health member, Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, Shawna Rioux, Founder and President of Breasts Out for Ontario Babies (BOOB), Sandra Plagakis from KISS FM and hundreds of breastfeeding families at the Bistro Bébé Breastfeeding Challenge 2014 to raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding to support healthy growth and development.
Date: Saturday, October 4
Time: Registration begins at 10 a.m. The event starts at 10:30 a.m.
Location: Jean Pigott Place,
Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
This local event is part of the Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge, which began in 2001 as part of World Breastfeeding Week. It is a friendly, global competition to see who can set the record for the most babies and toddlers breastfeeding at one time.
