A man suspected of impaired driving with his nine-year-old son on his lap was to appear in a Gatineau courtroom on Monday.
The Quebec Police Force said officers came upon the father and son in a vehicle that had veered across Highway 105 near Kazabazua, 78 kilometres north of Ottawa, at about 2:30 a.m. Monday.
The 31-year-old man could face charges of impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample, obstruction, assault, threatening police and drug possession. Police did not release the man’s name.
