Check 加油站气筒上的指针下的 unit being used. If it's the same as the red one as shown in the picture I posted a while ago (according to your description, quite possibly it is), then you may find the equivalent psi number in black on that meter (psi = Lbf/in^2 or Pounds per square inch) using that picture.
1 bar (or 100 kpa) = 14.5 psi
35psi = 2.4 bar (or 240 kpa)
