Ottawa police Guns and Gangs unit is investigating after a bullet hole was found in the garage door of a house on Riga Private in the city’s west end.
The bullet hole was reported to police on Wednesday night, but when officers talked to the homeowners they were told the bullet hole had appeared a few days before on Saturday, Oct. 25.
That’s the same day that other neighbours told police they’d heard someone fire a single gunshot.
Riga Private is just west of Britannia Park, near Ritchie Street.
