Ottawa police are investigating after a rock was thrown through a window at a Hunt Club Road mosque early Friday morning.
Police were called to the mosque at 1216 Hunt Club Rd., just west of Bank Street, after the alarms went off at about 4:30 a.m.
The incident is being investigated as vandalism since there is no indication it was a hate crime, police said.
