Three men who may have been wearing wigs broke into a North Glengarry home this week and assaulted a man before running off with guns and jewelry, police say.

The Ontario Provincial Police say that at about 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, three men entered a home on Menard Road and assaulted a male occupant, who received minor injuries.

Police say the three men made off with two rifles, jewelry and cash.

The first suspect was described as a 5-6 to 5-8 black male, 18 to 22 years old, with a thin build.

The second is described a 5-6 to 5-8 black male, 18 to 22 years old, with a thin build and moustache.

The third is described as an East Indian male with a thin build, small nose and thin lips.

All three were said to be wearing dark clothing and had hoods pulled over their heads. The suspects all had “long dreadlocks-style hair,” which could have been wigs, police said.

The OPP are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
