Ontario Provincial Police have closed the southbound lanes of Highway 416 as they investigate a fatal accident involving at least one vehicle.
Police said the accident took place near the Dillworth Road exit of the highway around noon today. At one point the vehicle was on fire and emergency crews were called in to contain the blaze.
Paramedics said a man in his 50s was killed.
