An Ottawa man is facing child pornography charges after police received complaints of images being found in public places.
Images were found in September on play structures and ballpark bleachers in the area of Paul Anka Drive in the city’s south end, according to police. In October, some were found in an office building on Elgin Street, police said.
Nicholas Philion, 29, has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography and two counts of making child pornography available.
He is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on Saturday.
