A 30-year-old man from the Ottawa area was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon near Osgoode.
Ottawa police said they responded to the scene of the crash on Swale Road at 3:47 p.m. on Friday.
The male driver was the vehicle’s only occupant. He was transported to hospital and succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The road was reopened at 9:30 p.m.
Police said next of kin had been notified but they were not releasing the man’s name.
They ask any witnesses to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222 ext 2481.
