Home Depot and Rona. Home Depo is right on Baseline road. Rona is on Merrivale and Hunt Club.

Because you are only doing some patch up, you can actually buy sod. It's easier and faster. Seeds take a long time to germinate. Go to Rona's. They carry sod.

I recommend sod. it's about 4 dollars per square foot. It's very easy to do. I have some experiences with sod. If you need a hand, give me a shout. I will help you place the sod.

I don't recommend use of chemicals for weed control, for environmental and health concerns. It's harmful to babies. I think it's already banned in Ottawa.
