RCMP officers break rules on note-taking: internal audit

RCMP officers too often break rules governing the way they take notes and keep often sensitive handwritten material, says an internal audit. A review of more than 200 notebooks found missing pages, improper corrections, little oversight and no clear rules on whether retired officers can keep their notebooks at home.
