Picnic at Philip Lake

Hi, everyone,

I am new here, with the e-name of "daxian" which was called by my classmates in the university in China. You can get my true name from my email address.

Here is a news about picnic at philip lake:
(It's the direct reason I loged in and I wish share more infomation with you funny guys here.)

On behalf of the organization of Chinese Association in Gatineau,
I would like to inform all friends, who resident in
Quebec side, that there will be a picnic trip to
philip lake on 16 of August, 2003, (next Saturday).

This activity is organized by Chinese Association in
Gatineau (CAG). The transportation (School Bus) will be
provided with $2/person(free for children), in the front of
Maxi supermarket on the St. Joseph Boul., at 10 am .

Swiming, beach volleyball, BBQ, are
available there. Entry fee is free.
Kayak, canoe are on your own expense.

(Maximum 38 persons are allowed for the school bus)

Chinese Association in Gatineau is a legal organization registered with government of Quebec Province in 2001. The purpose of this organization is to help new immigrants settle down in West Quebec and try to play the role as platform of communication for all Chinese living here. Actually every year since it is set up, we hold celebration party around the Chinese traditional New Year and some outside activities in the summer such as this one.
I don't want to advertise it too much here. When you go that picnic you will know it more youself.

我也是第一次知道还有这个组织呢，不知道你们组织的日常宣传手段是什么呢？既然是帮助新移民的组织就应该让更多的人知道，这才符合你们的宗旨，不是吗？
