One person is dead after a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound at Highway 401 near Brockville, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
All lanes going eastbound at North Augusta Road and westbound at Maitland Road are closed as a result. Police say there is no estimated time for reopening and are advising drivers to use detours.
Earlier today, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement, warning drivers that periodic freezing drizzle make cause slippery roads and to use caution on your morning commute.
Police are investigating the crash.
