A loss of supply from the Hydro One grid has left about 32,000 customers in the dark in the large rural swath east of Ottawa.
The utility’s service map shows a massive area stretching from 10th Line Road east to Plantagent and south from the town of Rockland to Bourget.
The utility offered no further explanation for the outage.
The power was lost at about 3:30 a.m. and latest estimate for restoration is between 8:30 a.m and 9:45 a.m.
