The Ottawa Police Service is still seeking information about a 27-year-old man who was last seen on the University of Ottawa campus.
Navid Nasir, a personal trainer, nutritionist and martial artist, was last seen near the University of Ottawa’s Tabaret Hall on Thursday, Dec. 4, around 10:30 p.m. He was then wearing a black coat, black dress shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Nasir graduated from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2012 and spent one year as a research assistant at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Institute.
He has been working as a self-employed personal trainer and nutritionist for more than a year.
Nasir’s postings on Instagram suggest he may have been struggling in recent months.
“The days where you feel like all your hard work has gotten you nowhere are the most important ones . . . because choosing to keep going in those moments is what will make you a success story,” he wrote earlier this year.
