The Capital Strings Collective (CSC)
Dr. Joan Harrison, brings intergenerations of string players together to build musical expression, practice skills, and technical excellence in an environment that promotes discipline and mindfulness of body and spirit. Working in collaboration with the University of Ottawa's School of Medicine, the Perley Rideau Veteran's Health and Rehabilitation Centre, and Carleton University's School of Arts and Sciences, members benefit from the vast body of evidence-based practices used by the ensemble in their music educational and community endeavors. They will perform Violin Ensemble “Jasmine Flowers” and “Stairway to Heaven” .
