Ottawa police have charged a school bus driver with impaired driving after a collision this week.
Police say a bus and a car collided Thursday around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Milton Road and Navan Road.
There were no injuries, and there were no children on board the bus at the time. The bus driver had been en route to a school to pick up students for an after-school session, police said Friday.
Police allege the school bus driver, who is with First Student Canada, was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Kellie Perrier, 45 of Ottawa has been charged with impaired driving.
She is to appear in court on Jan. 29, 2015.
