Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 44-year-old woman who reportedly told family members she was heading to Montreal on foot.
Police say Jacqueline Benoit was last seen in the 300 block of Murray Street at 2 p.m. Friday.
She is described as being a white, 5-5 woman weighing 125 pounds. She has short, blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black, knee-length winter coat with black fur on the hood, a beige scarf and winter boots.
Police ask anyone with information about Benoit to call the force’s central division at 613-236-1222, ext. 5212, or Crime Stoppers at 613-236-8477 (TIPS).
