Police seek man who pointed gun at Barrhaven drivers

Ottawa police say they are looking for a man they say was pointing a handgun at passing cars in Barrhaven on Saturday morning.

Alarmed drivers called police at around 9 a.m. after they saw a man walking with a gun near Woodroffe Avenue and Strandherd Drive.

Police said Monday morning that they have received images and are looking for video of the suspect.

The guns and gangs unit is leading the investigation. Police have not released a description of the man.
