Not any more.
Ottawa Public Health has resumed its cautionary message on the dangers of frostbite as Tuesday’s forecast high of -12 C, combined with brisk winds of indicated a windchill level of about -32 C, below the agency’s trigger level of -25 C.
In fact, the agency is advising extra caution for the rest of the week, even though Environment Canada has reassuring forecasts of mostly sunny skies and highs of about -10 C until about Friday.
Right now, Friday shows a 30-per-cent chance of flurries. On Saturday, that is expected to climb to a 60-per-cent chance of flurries but the high is expected to rocket to -4 C.
