Special Transit Committee Meeting called for February 4

Ottawa –The City of Ottawa’s Transit Commission will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, February 4 for the purpose of tabling the following items:

• The relevant portions of the City’s 2015 Operating and Capital Budgets to be considered by the Transit Commission
• Revisions to Boundary of Urban Transit Area for 2015

The meeting will be held in the Champlain Room, and will convene 30 minutes after the adjournment of the Special Council Meeting.

At its meeting on February 18, the Transit Commission will consider and hear delegations on its portions of the 2015 Draft Operating and Capital Budgets, and will forward its recommendations to Council, sitting as Committee of the Whole, for consideration at the meeting to be held on March 11.

The matter of Revisions to Boundary of Urban Transit Area for 2015 will be debated by the Transit Commission at its meeting on February 18 and forwarded to Council for its meeting on February 25.
