Water main break causes detours in Gatineau

Several road detours remain in place in gatineau Tuesday following a Monday night water main break apparently caused by frigid weather conditions.

The break occurred on St. Joseph Boulevard near Les Galeries de Hull shopping mall.

Police were out early Tuesday morning re-routing traffic trying to travel along the busy roadway, which led to heavy backups in and around the area. St. Joseph Boulevard between St. Raymond Boulevard and Rue Caron remains closed.
