The swim coach at a Gatineau CÉGEP has been charged with voyeurism after police say he planted a smartphone to videotape inside the women’s change room.
Police say someone left a smart phone in a “strategic position” to videotape women in their dressing room at the Gabrielle-Roy campus of the CÉGEP de l’Outaouais, on Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard. The incident took place last Friday.
On Wednesday they announced they have charged Gilbert Macdonald, 48, coach of the CÉGEP’s swim team, the Griffons with two counts of voyeurism. He is also director general of the Club aquatique de l’Outaouais.
Police say they have no evidence of any other similar actions, but are asking anyone who may be a victim to call 819-246-0222.
