Ottawa registered its first homicide of the year Friday as a 26-year-old man was shot to death at an address in the 100 block of Forestglade Cres., near Hunt Club Road.
Police said the incident was called in at about 9:30 a.m. and paramedics confirmed the man was declared dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity was not released.
There have been no arrests.
The investigation is continuing.
