Two men were stabbed early Saturday morning after an altercation that began on an OC Transpo bus, Ottawa police said Saturday morning.
The men, whose identities were not released, began arguing on the bus at about 3 a.m. and continued when they debarked at Lincoln Fields Transitway station at Carling Avenue and Sir John. A. Macdonald Parkway.
There, they stabbed each other, police said. A third person also became involved in the incident at the station.
The two injured men were taken to hospital, where one was treated for minor injuries and released into the custody of the police. The other remains in hospital in stable condition; his injuries are not considered life threatening.
The third person was also taken into police custody.
Police are not seeking other suspects in this case as they continue their investigation.
At about 9 a.m. Saturday, six OPS and OC Transpo police cars were visible at Lincoln Fields station and most of the inside buildings were blocked by police tape. Transit users could still access the station.
